The day went great, in all honesty. You kept lapsing into thoughtful stares at Loki, silently examining him. It certainly was interesting to see him up close with that reputation of his. He wasn’t very quiet, though. He spent the day chattering, and making conversation with you despite the awkward circumstances. He seemed to enjoy teasing you, especially when he caught you staring at him. It was strange, almost like you’d known Loki for a long time. You served him a hearty meal and let him watch TV all day in your room with you. Rhet didn’t seem to bother you, which served to be a relief. You could only imagine how he’d react if he opened your bedroom door and saw Loki. All that day, when you kept to yourself and tried not to stare at the god, your mind was kept in a torrent state of calculation. He promised he’d reward you for this “hospitality”, but what exactly did he mean? On a better note, what did you DO with a demi god? Keep him as a pet?!
“I require something to eat.”
“You’re hungry AGAIN?!” Your jaw dropped. When you said he ate a hearty meal, you meant it.
“I have a wholesome appetite.” He changed channels on the TV with his newly bestowed remote, flashing you a brilliant smile. You groaned gently and walked to the kitchen. You supposed it was time to make dinner anyway, but what’s the fun without giving Loki a bit of grief? He was a startingly handsome gentleman-
No.
No, you stop that right now.
DON’T THINK THAT WAY!
Taking a deep breath, you busied your mind with preparing baked chicken in a pan. You hoped Loki liked chicken…
DANG IT!
WHY DID HE HAVE TO INVADE /YOUR/ HOME ANYWAY?!
“You wouldn’t be happening to be thinking about me again, would you, (y/n)?” Loki appeared directly behind you, smirk still plastered on his face. You jumped out of shock, sliding out of his reach as not to touch him.
“DAMMIT LOKI! DON’T SCARE ME LIKE THAT!” You hit him with the potholder in your hands, heart racing. That earned you nothing but a melodious laugh.
“Why shouldn’t I? You amuse me when you’re startled~” He grinned, getting dangerously close.
“Because I won’t let you eat if you keep it up!” Your cheeks burned dark red as he flashed an adorable pout, puppy eyes and all. Why was he like this? For his reputation of being a vile killer, he was awfully playful and sweet…
“How is that fair? What about you mortal’s esteemed idea of freedom, won’t you grant me that?”
“Ohoh!” You scoffed. “Was it not you who claimed that freedom is our biggest lie?!”
“It’s made a lie because of cute power-mongors like yourself.”
That earned him another smack with your pot holder, right across his gorgeous face. He gave you a serious look before you burst into giggles, unable to hold it in. Unable to resist, he relaxed and joined you in your giggle fest.
This was getting dangerous.
You couldn’t risk getting too close, risk harming the person that seemed like your only friend just after a day. Ever since you killed Timmy with that electric power of yours, you hadn’t had skin-to-skin contact with anyone for just over thirteen years.
But hell… you wanted to get close to Loki. For just a moment, as you stared into his deep green eyes, you let yourself dream. What you wouldn’t do to feel his arms tight around you, to feel the feathery-soft embrace of his fingertips along your hand, and for him to stroke your cheek. What wouldn’t you give to tangle your fingers in his raven hair, and even feel his lips on yours…
Beep.
Beep.
BEEP.
You blinked, train of thought gone as quickly as it had come. You needed to finish dinner. You pulled your attention away from Loki and back to the seasoned chicken to put it in the oven. You entirely missed the astonished look on Loki’s face.
“(Y/n), the way you were looking at me just now…”
“Forget it, Loki,” You said with a sigh. No matter what, you COULD NOT let your feelings take ahold of you. For Loki’s sake. You couldn’t let the God of Mischief get an inkling of the feelings you held captive in your heart. Deciding to withdraw from the situation, you slipped past Loki, careful not to come in contact, and went upstairs to your bedroom. You plopped down stubbornly on the bed, and as Loki followed you, you pointed to the ground.
“It’s your turn to sit on the floor.”

Dirty Little Secret (LokixTomxReader)
You walked into the home you shared with your boyfriend. You got sent home early from work because of the weather. And had stopped by the grocery to pick up some items in case you ended up snowed in, but you were still home a long time before you should have been. But you heard voices from the living room.
“Thomas I love what you’ve done with the place.” A male voice said. You stopped and listened.
“Thanks man. (Y/n) was a big help with the decorating.” He laughed. You stood there.
“I wish I could meet her.” The other man said. You heard Tom sigh.
“I know, but you can’t.” Tom sai

Young and Beautiful (Loki x Reader oneshot)
Loki was reading in the living room of Stark tower, where he had been living for the past two years after he changed for the better. In that time he had come to love a certain mortal girl who worked for SHEILD. (y/n). He loved everything about her. The way she could light up a room by just standing in it. The way she made him feel better by just smiling at him. The way she loved every aspect of him. Flaws and Jotun in all. The fallen prince was snapped out of his reverie and thoughts by the sound of piano notes and a beautiful voice drifting from down the hall.

Just Like Her Loki x Reader
Loki stood haughtily in the middle of his temporary dwelling; his eyes flickered over the many mortals that peppered the area. He relished his dominance over each and every one of them. It was his right after all; he was meant to be king.
“Sir, I’ve caught an intruder.” Barton’s voice came from the shadows directly behind Loki.
“Good job, Barton.” Loki commended a tad stand-offish before he twisted around to face them. Although once he caught sight of the intruder the sarcastic quip that was on his lips died. His wide eyes wandered over every visible inch of you and from what he saw you looked exactly

This was supposed to have a Loki POV, but I'll fit that into the next chapter. I'm really tired.
